I didn’t think an investment shark could teach me something about magic. I watched Daymond John on a podcast talk about his new kid's book, and in the interview, he wears a hat that gives me serious Dr. Facilier vibes.
He explains that he wears it when he discusses his new book--a picture book teaching kids and parents alike how to manage money.
He said kids ask him excitedly, “Are you a magician?” and he responds, “Yes! I’m going to show you how to turn one dollar into three dollars!”
And some adults will criticize him for wearing it, saying, “It looks stupid.”
His response?
“You got caught in that trap of growing up.”
